The person behind the stories

I’m Naomi, the writer behind every Tailored Tale. I’ve spent over two decades writing, listening, and noticing the small details that make people who they are. My life has shaped the way I tell stories. It taught me how to truly see people, to listen carefully, and to write without assumptions. Tailored Tales Collective was born after I moved to Goa, India, when I realised how powerful it is to have your story genuinely seen and thoughtfully told. Every book is written by me, from scratch. No templates. No shortcuts. Just time, care, and real attention.

A fully personalised storybook based on your real story, designed like a keepsake you’ll actually want to keep on your shelf (and show off). TTC creates books for couples, families, parents, children, best friends, pets, and even brand stories.

Truly custom. Every book is written from scratch based on your details, with the tone, pacing, and moments built around your life. No “choose your adventure” dropdowns. No recycled scripts.

I’ll first ask who the book is for and the occasion. Based on that, I create a set of custom questions tailored to your story. You can answer them however you like: typed messages, voice notes, or a mix of both. I do the structuring, shaping, and storytelling from there.
You don’t need to know how to tell the story. You just need to share it.

Yes. Heartfelt, hilarious, romantic, nostalgic, slightly unhinged, quietly poetic, children’s-simple, grown-up elegant, you name it. You can also tell me what not to do (too cheesy, too formal, too jokey). 

Each book is created to order, from writing to design to print.
Once I begin, pan-India delivery typically takes 10–15 days, depending on the project and your location. If you’re working towards a specific date (birthday, anniversary, surprise moment), let me know early, and I’ll plan the timeline accordingly.
